ME Senior Design

Description

At the culmination of my undergraduate degree, I worked with the ReNeu Robotics Lab and a team of three other students to develop an XY Drawing Table, which empowers K-12 Students with motor disabilities and special needs to produce art using a joystick. On this project, I developed a mechanism using Solidworks which allows for a writing utensil to be actuated through the drawing surface using an electromagnet, providing students a "click-pen" functionality in their art while minimizing safety concerns and improving overall aesthetic. I also led the software and electronics design for the project.
